Jake's Work Placement Prep

  Monday 26th February 2024 Today I am working from home so that I may focus on working on my audio and video work. I ended up composing a new song for a video that I am making. I also received news regarding my assignment that told me about my presentation that I need to do as part of it, which is worth 30%. Everyone is doing it on different weeks, but I'm doing mine on the 7th of March at 2:00pm. The presentation lasts for 5-7 minutes and will focus on my experience of work placement. The students of the second year Creative Digital Media class will also ask me questions. I need to talk about the company and what my role in said company, as well as what skills I have learned and any challenges I faced. Regarding this presentation, I was thinking on working on that when I work in Tyndall.   Monday 19th February 2024 Today I am working from home, so that way I can work on some audio and video related work. I have composed two original tracks for the interview videos. I figured that for the videos, some original songs composed by me would fit and that way you won't have to listen to dead silence. I also decided to create an intro video for the beginning of the interview videos, as if it were a series. I'm also working on the interview video, looking for any kind of good stock footage that I can find. I do have all the footage finished and edited together into a video. It did take a long time however, so I decided that I would render the video overnight. The video has been fully rendered, and I am about to send it to Ré so that I may get to hear what he has to say about it.
