Week 3

  Monday 29th January 2024 Today I plan to write down ideas on how to advertise Tyndall to a more international audience. Ideas on how to advertise Tyndall to a more international market: Mention how welcoming the place is for any newcomers. Talk about your personal experience and say how you felt when you first visited versus how you feel about it now. Discuss the opportunities that it has to offer to any newcomers, whether they be working here or studying there. Bring up a list of different topics you can bring up that a new student can potentially study, so that they can bring interest to new students. Mention how you know someone else that also joined Tyndall that also had a nice time here, so you will have more people to talk about. Whenever I get home, I definitely should think of composing some music for the creative video. I worked on a tentative graphic for the Student² video blog. Week 2

  Monday 22nd January 2024 Today I decided I would work from home, so that way I can focus on doing video work for Tyndall. What I plan to do today is to work on my creative video surrounding Tyndall, and any drafts I make I will share with Ré. I recorded the footage that I plan to use for my video. With the footage that I have recorded both last week and today, I worked on a first draft of the creative video: It has rendered successfully, and I have sent it to Ré. If he likes what I made, then I will post it onto the video blog. Tuesday 23rd January 2024 Right now, I am writing up different questions that I may ask the students whenever I get around to working on the student par I have also signed up for Manual Training for the 28th of February. Week 1

Monday 15th January 2024 For my first time visiting Tyndall, I had to take part in a first day on-boarding session. We were shown various PowerPoint presentations regarding the company and all the rules that it has regarding using the computers or the rooms within the building. We were also given sheets that we had to fill in to create our accounts for Tyndall, including creating our own passwords. We were shown the safety protocols and what we need to do during the event of a fire or a gas leak. I met up with my supervisor, Ré O'Cinneide, and we had a chat about what we were going to do in Tyndall. I was given a list of things I need to do: Do everything from the email you will get. Look at the Tyndall website and learn about the company. Look at the videos that Ré sends.
